Founder & Chair

Dr. Ghazani is a medical geneticist and scientist with expertise in clinical and molecular genomics, constitutional cancer, tumorigenesis, and precision oncology. She has led the development of several programs and genomic tools and methods to identify actionable genetic alterations in cancer. Emphasis is on using an integrated approach in the evaluation of somatic (tumor) and germline (constitutional) genomic data to inform the role of germline alterations and their effect on the clinical management of cancer patients.

Her passion for bridging scientific advances with current clinical needs led to the establishment and development of INT²GRATE Programs and INT²GRATE Consortium. INT²GRATE Programs leverage tumor-derived signature profiles and clinical genetic information to identify clinically actionable germline alterations in cancer patients. INT²GRATE Consortium is a multi-institutional initiative aimed to share INT²GRATE variant evidence in public databases. Dr. Ghazani serves as the Director of the INT²GRATE Programs and Chair of the INT²GRATE Consortium.
